Picot Bind-OffUpdated 6 months ago
A picot bind-off creates a decorative, scalloped edge by adding small loops along the edge of the fabric. It’s often used for finishing edges on lace shawls, baby blankets, or other items needing a playful or decorative finish.
How to Picot Bind Off:
- Cast on two additional stitches using the knit cast-on method.
- Bind off four stitches (including the two new ones) to create a picot.
- Repeat across the edge for a series of small loops.
Tip: Picot bind-offs can take more yarn and time, so ensure you have extra yarn before beginning.
